Small, handy, cheap power bank. Unfortunately, I was not able to open this one non-destructively, so I cannot evaluate the quality of the internal electronics and batteries, but I expect the same (or very similar) wiring as the AlzaPower Metal Gen2 20000mAh (which I opened and examined the internal wiring). When discharging the quickcharge 12V/1A powerbank gave 2500mAh. That's a bit less than the theoretical half of the Metal Gen2 20,000mAh variant (where I have verified that the internal battery is indeed 20,000mAh) - that gave 5640mAh. I like the display and the voltage and current indicator. As for the remaining percentage, I found the indicator there a bit misleading - when charging, the charging current began to slow down (i.e. the battery was already almost charged) at some 60% on the display. From 80% onwards, only a very small current flowed and then the power bank quickly brought the percentage to 100%. Maybe it will calibrate with a few charges/discharges and will be more in line with the real capacity What is a pity with these "ordinary" powerbanks - if any appliance is plugged into the powerbank while charging, the fast charging (9-12V) will drop to ordinary slow charging (5V). Moreover, the output voltage is low (there is no regulated 5V, but only the USB output connects directly to the input port, which is still loaded by the actual charging of the powerbank). The lower voltage causes a lot of things to either not want to charge at all or charge terribly slowly. it's faster to charge the power bank and when it's charged to swap the cable to your mobile than to have it plugged together like this. If more than one appliance is plugged in during normal operation, the fast charging also immediately drops to the classic 5V. Purchased 10/2025 in alzadny sale for 312kč
