I purchased these Alza MagCore cables, with an Alza Power to Power adapter. sockets. After about four months, after connecting the cable to the phone, a short circuit occurred and the charger started to burn after a while. Thanks to a car fire extinguisher (for home use), the fire was extinguished. The mobile phone for 28 thousand (then for 19 thousand and now for 12 thousand) has gone and the warranty does not cover this (nor does the insurance - I would still have to pay extra for the repair thanks to Alza's conditions). This is the third phone in two years that has gone this way. Neither the adapter nor the cable has any short circuit protection although it is stated on the product. I bought the cable because the connector with a "normal" non-magnetic cable always got loose after some time (about a year and a half) and had a bad touch so it didn't charge. Compared to the previous price of mobile phones and the fact that the phone lasted over a year and a half I am done with magnetic cables and I would rather pay for a replacement of the bent power connector once every year and a half than risk burning out the apartment. The service to which I sent the mobile phones always evaluated the problem when the motherboard went and the cost of replacement would be more expensive than a whole new phone.

I do not recommend the cable because it melted the connector in my mobile and destroyed the charging socket in the mobile I own is about a month not to mention that the cable was connected to the Alza connection which was supposed to prevent short circuit and overheating thank you Alza brand for the destroyed phone

I bought it as a universal solution for charging and connecting several peripherals to a PC. However, these cables cannot transmit any information stably! They are constantly connected and disconnected in the system, so don' t take if you don' t want to charge purely! My main reason for buying it was to connect the Blackmagic Micro panel, which itself is non-stop backlit, even when the PC is turned off. I was hoping that with this solution it would be enough to simply disconnect magnetically and that' s it. But the cable turned out to be completely useless for this. I would remove any information about data transfer from the label and highlight that it can only be used for charging, then it would be at 5*.
