Today I did a power consumption test which is not directly related to this monitor but it has a lot to do with computer consumption. Before this monitor I had an HP 32 where it was playing at 60 FPS in Ful HD. Consumption when gaming with the monitor was about 200 to 250W. When I set these parameters on a pc with this LG monitor the consumption is the same when gaming as it was the previous HP 32. If I leave the FPS loose without locking at 60 FPS and at the same time switch from FUL HD to QHD it gets my graphics card which is RTX 2070 super in the game far cry 6 at 90 to 110 FPS the consumption of the computer goes up to 400 to 450 watts when playing the game. I have an 8 core i7 9700K processor in my computer. I still tried leaving the frame rate locked at 60 FPS and switching the resolution to QHD there was a consumption of about 300 W. With this test I mainly want to say that if I eventually switch to RTX 5070 or 5080, both performance and power consumption will increase. To summarize, the monitor will take still at rest on a smaller light 30W when playing a game in 4K and a computer that would have an i7 processor with 20 cores will take so 1000 W with the new radx RTX 5XXX graphics. When playing in 4K my graphics card shows under 60 FPS so it doesn't make much sense yet with older graphics but just the advantage that you can switch it from 4K to QHD is a blast and you don't have to buy anything just you old graphics. Gaming on this monitor at QHD is awesome. The image has more resolution and higher FPS than the previous monitor. For new games it depends how you set the image scaling it affects the display quality and it's limited by the performance of the graphics card. For far cry 6, with my graphics at high scaling it wasn't even playable at 4K it was low FPS I had to drop the image quality to a reasonable level.

Nice picture better than some OLED monitors. Good price compared to the competition. Consumption on smaller screen glow in RBG mode only 30 W as it was with my previous HP 32. Ability to switch the picture resolution to FUL HD or QHD and also 4K. When I put the monitor on FUL HD on a weaker pc the picture is the same quality as it was on the HP 32 which was only FUL HD. The monitor is good for watching 4K movies and playing games in high resolution and lots of FPS movement. Very nice picture.

Sometimes it happened to me when I switched the resolution of the image while playing games that when I then returned to the desktop i.e. I quit the game the monitor as if wrongly zabotoval and here and there some streak as if wrongly set the image synchronization. But it could have been the game that caused it. This problem stopped after I changed the graphics card driver.

Bought for 11400 CZK which is a great price for what the monitor offers. I wanted a 4K IPS with high brightness that was similar to my Macbook Air (500 nits) and offered an excellent picture in SDR. It will be 95% in use for work (software development), but from time to time I'll boot up Windows 11 or plug in a Nintendo Switch 2 and play. Here too, it offers great features, especially 144 and 120 Hz (HDMI 2.1). What pleased me are the rear LEDs which can be set to different colours, normally I stick my own LED strip on the back. Unfortunately the intensity cannot be adjusted and seems a bit low to me. The monitor has a great OSD, it's a bit too gamer oriented but you can adjust the picture. And the appearance is again quite gamer-oriented, but I had to put up with it because the DELL with similar parameters and USB hub cost 2x as much.

I look at the monitor from a short distance (approx. 0.5 m) and the 32" diagonal is too much, I had to turn my head a lot, so now I' m looking for a 27" alternative.
