After a few years, I decided to replace my old mobile with a new one. Once again, I decided to go for a Xiaomi, as I was very happy with the previous model, but now let’s move on to the phone itself. Once again, I was impressed by the large battery capacity (which is even greater than on my previous phone); the phone really does last a long time, and if by any chance you need to top it up quickly, you’ll certainly appreciate the fast-charging feature, which really does charge the phone in no time at all. I was also quite pleased with how smoothly the phone ran during more demanding tasks, and the model didn’t overheat at all. I’d also like to mention the camera and video functions, which I think are absolutely brilliant – beautiful photos and videos, plus plenty of internal storage, so you don’t have to worry about running out of space whilst on holiday. I was actually quite surprised by the weight; I’d expected it to weigh a lot more (mainly because of the battery), but the opposite is true. The phone isn’t particularly heavy and feels comfortable to hold. What bothers me a bit are two minor things: the lack of a 3.5 mm jack socket for wired headphones, and the phone case that comes with the phone. Personally, I’d like the cover to have more padding in the camera/video section. It seems a bit poorly finished to me, and the area around the camera could get damaged if it were to fall, for example. Otherwise, I rate the phone very highly and am very happy with it.
