I’ve been using Xiaomi phones for several years now and I’ve always been happy with them. I’ve always been able to rely on their hardware so far. For a reasonable price, you get decent hardware and, at present, decent support for AI services as well. I chose the Xiaomi 17T Pro mainly because of its relatively good camera. I’m a bit disappointed that there’s no macro lens, but the telephoto lens makes up for it. Another advantage, for me, is fast wireless charging. I have one charger by my bed and another at work. I’ll put the phone down and not worry about it. Another minor drawback is the usual load of pre-installed software, but this is fairly common among all manufacturers and is something you have to expect these days. Although I’ve only had the phone for a short while, I can still say that, having switched from the Xiaomi 14T, I’m very pleased with it.
