I was switching from S23 ultra - I promised it to my daughter. Maybe I wouldn't have changed it otherwise and waited for something more innovative. Alza surprised me - they delivered it on Wednesday - 2 days before the official start of the sale. So I've been using it for about 5 days and it's been a blast: the speed, the agility and Gemini, which can speak Czech and even though it should supposedly do Bixby, which does not speak Czech, so gemini can call a number, a name, can send a message, can send a whatsapp message. I'll just tell him, in Czech. in their own words, and the S25 ultra simply does it, delivers. I lost the bluetooth in the S foam though - I'm of the one percent that used it to remotely fire the camera shutter. I had it on the S23 Ultra. That's where the glass was last bent. I liked that, but the flat on the S25 Ultra is just so much more practical for typing. Well, and the photo editing, what you see on social media - that's reality, no magic. The camera and video was already great with the S23. For me it is currently the best you can get (leaving aside the uninteresting puzzles) and so the price is absolutely fair and justified.
Large, brilliantly legible display in all conditions
Speed (already beyond the edge of what I even realize)
AI functions in general
Google Geminy can speak Czech and can do what only Bixby should be able to do
Battery life
AI photo editing that Apple doesn't even come close to
The frosted glass finish is awesome
I don't want to test, but I'm told the durability of the glass
DEX - actually a computer in your pocket
Lack of BT in S foam (I liked using the S23 Ultra to take photos)

the display has beautifully vivid colours
matt finish resists fingerprints well
solid metal body with thin bezels
reliable fingerprint reader with a convenient location
great sounding loud speakers
high quality video recording
protective glass with good glare absorption capability
the battery is still only 5,000 mAh.
no magnets directly in the phone
45W charging, does not dazzle
higher purchase price

After more than 10 years of being fully on Apple, the S25 Ultra is the first phone that has forced me to change platforms and it's quite a pleasant epiphany. The phone is a fully comparable competitor to current iPhones and in many ways even surpasses them. Lots of options, the razor-sharp new One UI 7, and arguably the broadest Apple-like ecosystem in the Android world at the moment make the S25 Ultra just the phone to offer the ultimate Apple-like experience if you're tempted by the other side of the barricade. Sure, one can't help but see a certain laziness in innovation inherent in Apple's competition, as well as the high price. But if you have the money and don't want to deal with Chinese competition, the S25 Ultra is currently the best thing floating in the established Android mobile waters.
excellent evolution of the S24 Ultra
rounded body is easier to hold, does not cut into the hand
One UI 7
battery life
A complete Samsung ecosystem
Cameras fully comparable to iPhone 16
more Android OS options
hiRES audio codec support
with a battery larger than 5000 mAh, the battery life would be even better
mix of Samsung and Google apps, especially in AI causes confusion
generally as "lazy" generation as the iPhone 16 - little invention
The BT S-Pen disappears but the charging coil for it remains. Does this mean a future option to buy it?

I'm switching from Ultra S22. This transition makes sense because there are a lot of differences. Apart from battery capacity, I see a difference almost everywhere. I like the shape of the phone. The rounded edges of the S22 made it feel like the phone could slip out of my hand at any moment. Even though everywhere claims that no one has used the S Pen remote, I have and I miss it. Despite having everything from Apple I remain loyal to the Samsung Galaxy Ultra line.
Perfect display (little glare)
Appearance
It's holding up nicely
System speed
Maybe AI
I miss Bluetooth in the S Pen
The battery could be increased

Beautiful processing - probably the nicest phone I've had
Display
Camera in general
It's too big for my taste, but if I want the best, I'll have to try it
The fingerprint works well with the foil, but it's worse with the glass. If it was on the edge of the phone like the Fold, it would be great
