The kettle was chosen for a long time from several candidates and finally this one won. Some of the minuses described in the reviews are irrelevant to me or, on the contrary, a positive (e. g. " silent" sound signaling). The price is a little higher, but again we are satisfied with the kettle in all respects.

Not a bad kettle, but I was used to another that was clearly better.
It performs its basic functions well
Temperature adjustment in 5 degrees from 40 to 100
Sound signaling is silent
It usually has an input of only 2200W, like most kettles, the declared 2400W is only in turbo mode for a limited time, i. e. for a limited amount of water
It cannot boil water and signal cooling to the selected temperature
Setting the temperature by 5 degrees means longer setting
The display is single-line, so only the current temperature is visible during heating and does not display the set target temperature
the handle plastics do not fit perfectly, there is a rather unpleasant sharp edge

I'm returning the kettle. Design is not everything
Very pretty to look at
It measures the exact temperature and you can set the target temperature with an accuracy of fifty degrees (55,60,65,. )
Opening the top lid of the kettle is absolutely TERRIBLE. This is done by a button directly on the lid in the middle. Again: aesthetically very nice, but functionally it is not. At best, you' ll lose your temper because you have to press it sometimes 1x, but more often 2x, 4x, or 6x before it opens. In the worst case, you will burn yourself on the stainless steel lid of the kettle (although the button is plastic, but it is small).

We changed the kettle, the original Catler, a really good kettle but it went away after z years and the ELX was one of the choices and in the end a good one, everyone got to know it quickly
It works and the control is one-handed
The beep when the temperature is reached is quiet, but it's not that bad

The kettle is fast, quiet, with sufficient volume and yet does not take up space, is not heavy and is easy to handle.
It has a silent signal that does not disturb.
It has a very nice design.
If it still had coloured lighting inside according to the water temperature (we were used to with the previous kettle), it would be perfect: -)
