I've been using Anker Sondcore Liberty 2, Liberty 3 and finally Liberty 4 for a few years. I always thought these were the best sounding headphones in their class. When the Liberty 3 ended up in warranty, I decided to get something better, hopefully the best of the current range. After looking at all the possible reviews, the Denon Pearl Pro and Technics AZ80 remained in my viewfinder. In the end, I opted for the Denon and I think I did the right thing. However, after the headphones arrived and I started testing them, I had mixed feelings about them and thought I might return them. It's not even worth listening to them without a hearing test, the sound is terrible. The real turnaround comes when you have your hearing measured via the app. The sound is incredible, top-notch, with wonderful space, strong bass. When I'm walking down the street and a favourite song starts playing, I'm literally amazed at how beautiful it sounds. Eighties music like Pet Shop Boys sounds fantastic. The important thing is to find a pair of earbuds that fit you well and then take a hearing test, even several times in a row, and choose the sound you like best from the profile. The headphones are big, but they fit perfectly in my ear, I hardly know about them in a few minutes, I can run with them without any problem, they hold like nailed.
