As for functional shifts, I don't notice basically any, the battery has MAYBE slightly higher battery life than the new S8, but I don't remember much honestly. Summary: I'd rather stay with the S8 if the battery had relevant battery life, if it wasn't for the battery, buying the S11 seems completely unnecessary to me - on the contrary: you become more critical of the entire Apple brand.
