I like AlzaPower products, but this one really didn't work. The display is basically useless there, because the vast majority of data on it are totally random numbers (checked by multimeter and thermometer) - charging currents, temperatures (both are significantly higher in real life than shown on the display - and when I write significantly, we are talking about a difference of 0.5 A or 20°C). This is related to the fact that the charger "blasts" the batteries with an absolutely absurdly high charging current (which leads to overheating, risk of battery failure and shortens its life), which cannot be regulated in any way. Batteries get so hot when charging that one is afraid to leave the charger "alone" in case a battery fails. And no, it's probably not a problem on the battery side - I have about five sets of AA batteries of different manufacturers, condition and age, all getting "loaded" exactly the same. This charger really failed.
