"Zero RPM" mode is a cooler feature where the fan stops completely and does not spin. This occurs in situations where the cooled component, such as a graphics card or processor, is not under load and its temperature is low. The main purpose of this technology is to achieve absolute silence during light computer work, such as web browsing or office tasks. The cooler is equipped with sensors that constantly monitor the temperature. Once the temperature drops below a certain threshold set by the manufacturer, the control unit turns the fan off. When the load increases, for example when starting a game or a more demanding application, the component's temperature rises. After exceeding the set temperature limit, the fan automatically starts spinning again to provide the necessary cooling. In addition to reducing noise, this feature also contributes to extending the lifespan of the fan bearings, as they do not spin when it is not absolutely necessary.
