This is kind of a contradictory review.
Although the driver didn't work for me, which is a first for anything I own from 8bitdo, I still have to give it 3 stars even though it has this giant bug.
It's very tiny, but it's still comfortable to hold and I believe some games would play really well on it. The 4 shoulder buttons are a huge advantage over the "previous version". And USB-C charging is great.
If only it worked. It happens, a bad piece can appear at any time, in time I will definitely order a second piece and adjust the review accordingly.
